Fix-a-Flat and Fuel Drive
Team Revolution is proud to sponsor a charitable drive benefiting the “Wheels Can Take Me Places” Cycling Group. Now through Tax Day (April 15) Team Revolution will be collecting “Flat Repair and Fuel” for the group:
“Wheels Can Take Me Places” is a group of 22 seventh graders from a Kansas City Charter school, who, under the direction of Kenneth Walker from Urban Kansas City Community of Cyclists (UKCCC), will be completing a 225 mile Katy Trail ride in June. Kenneth is working with the group to teach them cycling skills and to prepare for the week long trip.
+ On-the-Bike nutrition (power gels/bars, Clif blocks/bars, sharkies, drink powders, etc.)
+ water bottles
+ flat repair gear (tire levers, tubes, co2s, frame pumps, etc.
Items can be given directly to members of the Team Revolution Board (Carrie Cash, Chris Roettger, Jamie Valencheck, Alice Butler or Stephanie Nadeau) or dropped off at collection sites at various bike shops (Big Shark, The Hub, Maplewood, Alpine Shop, Trek Store). Questions about the drive, please email Steph@teamrevcling.org
