NRC Update: Santa Rosa
Tibco’s Brooke Miller outsprints Laura Van Guilder (Cheerwine) for the first win on the NRC calendar. In its first year the criterium taking place on the men’s finishing course for Stage 2 of the Tour of California managed to draw over 80 women contenders.
The event was deemed a success by all involved, prompting talk of expanding the women’s competition next year. There are rumors of making it a 3 or 4 day event. That’s exciting news for us and we hope to hit the pavement with them next year.
